Ice Sculptures...with a message!

The art installation of hundreds of little frozen men symbolizes the melting of the ice in our polar regions and how it will affect life on earth.
The contemplative ice sculptures are created by Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo, and you can see more information here
Thanks Amanda H. for the link!

What do you think about these lil guys?  How are they like our tape sculptures?

  11. I think the ice people look really cool but it sucks because later on they will have to melt since it's ice. it's similar to the pack taping project because they are clear looking and have a certain pose to mean something.

IC screening.

Tonight was the screening, it was awesome, and really cool to see the roadies speak and ask questions after the film.  I bought a lot of goodies, and it feels good to support the movement. If you would like to do the same, visit the site, and get your own Invisible Children gear!  http://store.invisiblechildren.com/ I got these: the bag is rad because it is made by a ugandan person directly affected by the war, it creates a job or opportunity for that person to recover and create income for themselves more info here! Who Made Your Bag? from INVISIBLE CHILDREN on Vimeo . and this shirt came with a DVD of the documentary, as a part of the TRI donation program (where you donate $30 a month until the war is over in Africa!)
