My 100th blog post!!!!

Get inspired

Janet Echelman found her true voice as an artist when her paints went missing -- which forced her to look to an unorthodox new art material. Now she makes billowing, flowing, building-sized sculpture with a surprisingly geeky edge. A transporting 10 minutes of pure creativity.

  23. she should implement one of those net things somewhere in LA it would be awsome. where do you think she's going to go with this?
she could sell this art to cities to make their city look nicer, but that would be a difficult product to sell. but what if she's not trying to make money off it? what do you think Ms. Geiger? what would you do?

  28. Congratulations on 100 posts!! Woohoo!
Anyway, I missed the last day to post stuff on here, but I'm still gonna post anyway. Haha. I just wanted to say that I've had a wonderful, fun, and somewhat adventurous year in this class. It was one of the classes that I looked forward too. Thanks for being a great teacher Ms. Geiger!! You're super chill and awesome and hipster. Haha. That's about it for now. I'll tell you the rest on Facebook once I'm allowed to add you. Haha. See ya!

hellogoodbye decides to match our donation!

http://www.hellagoodbuys.net/shoppe/ Check it out!  We are selling wristbands (that I and my friend Amy made) and including the extra cranes you made, to raise even more money for Japan. More than 30 packages have been sold already, guys! GO US!

IC screening.

Tonight was the screening, it was awesome, and really cool to see the roadies speak and ask questions after the film.  I bought a lot of goodies, and it feels good to support the movement. If you would like to do the same, visit the site, and get your own Invisible Children gear!  http://store.invisiblechildren.com/ I got these: the bag is rad because it is made by a ugandan person directly affected by the war, it creates a job or opportunity for that person to recover and create income for themselves more info here! Who Made Your Bag? from INVISIBLE CHILDREN on Vimeo . and this shirt came with a DVD of the documentary, as a part of the TRI donation program (where you donate $30 a month until the war is over in Africa!)
