Recycled Art Competition 2011

Thanks for visiting our class blog!  We started constructing these sculptures and had 7 days to complete them.  Anything "destined for the dump" or found in the trash/recycle bins could be used as art materials, the only things allowed besides trash were paint and glue.  There are 4 categories (each one has its own post below).

To vote, simply comment on the category post with the number of the nominee you think did the best!  if you are in Miss G's class, sign your name and period number to get participation credit.

*Votes will be tallied Tuesday May 31st @ 11:59:59 pm, and winners will be announced Wednesday June 1st.

My 100th blog post!!!!

Get inspired Janet Echelman found her true voice as an artist when her paints went missing -- which forced her to look to an unorthodox new art material. Now she makes billowing, flowing, building-sized sculpture with a surprisingly geeky edge. A transporting 10 minutes of pure creativity.
