Hello! I am so proud to announce that with the homeroom collection boxes, and the ticket and snack sales at Friday Night Live variety show, we raised.... $2,752.66 WE NOT ONLY MET OUR GOAL, WE SURPASSED IT! Thank you to all the participating teachers, staff, and student for making this possible. Here are a few photos from the Friday Night Live talent show, there are more to come!

What is a zine? A zine (pronounced “zeen,” like “magazine”) is a self-published, small circulation, non-commercial booklet or magazine, usually produced by one person or a few individuals. Yesterday we installed posters around campus, to raise awareness for ODFL and encourage every student to donate $1.

ODFL COLLECTION BOXES IN PROGRESS 2014 This week we delivered the collection boxes to each homeroom at Gahr.  Our multimedia students handmade each box, to either reflect the theme of our assignment (to raise awareness for ODFL and education rights in Nicaragua and the world) or to appeal to the homeroom teacher/in order to promote the fundraiser. Our hope is to raise one dollar from every Gahr student by next Friday.  Please share! -Geiger  Leon T. and Elaine T. created the most beautiful collection box for my homeroom, it is a perfect replica of  my classroom...
