This year we used different higher-temp clay and glazes.  Students used iron oxide first and then decorated their beautiful forms with various dipping glazes to create the effects you see below. Enjoy!

We are in the middle of creating our coil inspiration vessels. inventive negative space solution!  patterns! negative space!  vertical coils!  famous! rad asymmetrical design, ocean inspired! These are coming along so well, I'm very proud of everyone's progress so far :)
