Welcome Multimedia Students!


Hi... thanks for checking out our blog! "Miss G Gallery" will now be used as part of our daily interaction. Our blog will be used to showcase creative approaches to current projects, so I'll be taking photos of your work in progress and you'll get to see what students in other periods are working on. I will also use the blog to share links to artists sites and other interesting things I collect from the web (I promise to limit my "linking" to cuteoverload.com ;).
Any and all interaction will earn you credit towards your participation grade, whether it's commenting on posts or providing links to relevant information. I'm pretty sure you all check your facebook, twitter, or email daily... add our blog to your bookmarks and check in here daily as well.

I will offer EXTRA credit opportunities sporadically , so you do not want to miss out.

    It would be awesome if you put up links for other kinds of crafts that can be done for fun at home. I think that it would help students become more artistically involved. ;)

    Hiiiiiii!
    You should put up some craaazy designs and patterns for our baskets. (Specifically, cool tribal ones) And, I think you should post links/tutorials for the different techniques, like figure 8 stitching because it is quite difficult and confusing.

    To attach a bead (or anything really) just thread it through the needle and hold it in place as you stitch. To get the figure 8, after you stitch up through the previous row pass the needle behind/underneath the core then begin wrapping towards yourself, after 5 wraps be sure you continue to stitch up from underneath. Let me know if you need a visual...
